Pokémon Forever

Almost online again...

Posted on January 16, 2004

Comcast was supposed to be out today to connect the cable Internet, but they didn’t make it here today, so they’ll have to come by next Saturday. But, luckily, we now can make long distance calls all across North America without long distance charges. That means I can be online via dial-up this week, since what kept me off before was the 6 cents per minute long distance charge. That also means I have no excuse to not make phone calls to friends across America… D’oh!Once we have cable Internet connected, I’ll still need a wireless network card to get the Internet via wireless router.

Once I’m back online, I won’t be on ICQ/AIM/MSN/Yahoo instant messengers for a while, to avoid people trying to fill me in on everything Pokemon-related that I’ve missed. Any new screenshots for Fire/Leaf that I may have missed, I can assure you I have already seen previously. Any new information that I’ve missed, I’ll catch up on via close friends of mine as well as various Japanese Pokemon news sites. Friends can contact me at my new e-mail address, the one that I’m not letting anyone else know in order to avoid at all costs any junk mail coming in, and a handful of my buddies can contact me via instant messenger via Jabber.

Commenting will be back as soon as I’m online via cable connection.
