Information and descriptions of screenshots found in Nintendo Dream magazine. Some of it’s reruns.
- Naming boy and girl players is shown.
- After clearing Pewter Gym, Running Shoes are obtained.
- There isn’t any “Soft Ground” for planting berries. (Maybe I’m misreading this one, but along with the next makes me wonder if they’ve gotten rid of growing berries. Well, we’ll know soon enough, eh?)
- Berries can be collected from wild Pokemon.
- You can do “Berry Crush” with berries on the second floor of the Pokemon Center.
- Exchanging berries for items such as Super Potion and Vitamins (Iron, Carbos, etc.) with the Berry Man in Cerulean City.
- Two to five people can play Mini Games via the Wireless Adapter.
- Battling a trainer in a Double Battle.
- You can interact with other players in the Union Room.
- The wireless adapter has a 10 meter range in any direction for a total of 20 meters. (There, now we know range is 10 meters radius, not 5.) This range is lower when there are things in the way, such as walls.
- There’s mention of “direct call” and name change, but I don’t know what it’s saying. Something about communicating via wireless adapter.
- If there’s a communication error, you get a message on the screen saying so.
- Something about “seeing” a Trainer’s Card in the Union Room is mentioned.
- There’s alsome something about Union Room rules, and I think at least two Pokemon on level 30 or higher. Otherwise, you don’t appear in the room, or something. Bah to kanji that’s too small to read.
- Fire/Leaf are compatible with Box and Colosseum.
There was more, but I don’t feel up to translating them. Something about the map and some other things.
